As a Senior Digital Designer at Alshaya, I worked on various projects for international brands, creating unique digital experiences in a competitive e-commerce landscape. I faced the challenge of designing adaptable designs that could cater to different markets and devices. Alshaya has a diverse portfolio of brands, from cosmetics to automotive, which required a flexible design system. Despite the challenges, my role was both challenging and exciting.
Create user-centered designs that are intuitive, visually appealing, and responsive across different platforms.
Collaborate with project managers, developers, and stakeholders to determine project requirements and goals
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that are in line with project requirements
Continuously improve design processes, tools, and methodologies
Review and approve project-related materials, including design files, assets, and output standards, to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Communicate with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide design recommendations
Collaborate with UX experts, developers, project managers, and other designers to deliver creative and strategic design solutions
Develop and maintain style guides and design libraries
Work on multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality designs on time and within budget
Mentor junior designers and help them grow their skills
